The quick answer
Check where it stopped. Is the picture uploading? Is the job waiting? Is the AI making the image? Or is the result ready but missing from Photoshop?
Do not keep clicking Generate. The first job may still be running. Save the message before trying again.

Keep these in mind
- Check whether the service has accepted your job.
- After cancelling, check that the job really stopped.
- Keep the job number, time, and error message.
Read the status
If upload has stopped, the AI may not have your picture yet. “Queued” means the job is waiting for a place. “Generating” means the service is working on it. If the result is ready but absent from Photoshop, check downloading or adding it to the file.
Write down the exact words. Check the service’s history too. Is there a job number or preview? Then the service has recorded your request. Check before starting the same one again.
Check the file and the wait
For an upload problem, check file type, file size, and image dimensions. Do they fit the tool’s rules? Try a small picture without private content. If it works, compare the two files. If both fail, check your connection, account, and the service’s status page.
A long queue may mean many people are using the service. Your plan may also limit how many jobs can run at once. Adobe lists busy services as one cause of timeout errors. Higgsfield describes different queues. One slow job does not prove what caused the wait.

Avoid a second copy of the same job
Read the cancellation guide. Some tools can stop a waiting job but not one already running. Higgsfield describes this difference. Closing the browser or plugin does not prove the online job stopped.
If you can cancel, check the status afterwards. After an error, look for a result or a charge too. Refund rules depend on the service and model. A picture that looks wrong is not automatically free.
- Save the prompt, pictures, and job number.
- Read the help page about status and cancellation.
- Wait for a clear finished, failed, or cancelled status.
- Then start just one new attempt.

The image is ready but missing from Photoshop
Save the result if you can see it in the service. Then check the intended Photoshop file and the plugin connection. Making another AI image usually will not fix a problem adding it to the file.
Does the plugin stop only with certain photos? Compare image size, color mode, and layers on copies. Do not change everything at once. Give support a small example, exact versions, time, and message. Do not post passwords, secret access keys, or private client photos in public.
