The quick answer
A blurry patch can have several causes. It may be too small, stretched too far, or softer than the photo around it. Compare it with the original at the same size.
Photoshop has different AI models. These are the systems that make the new image. Their picture sizes and features can differ.

Keep these in mind
- Check the generated layer at 100%.
- Separate missing detail from a poor blend.
- More sharpness does not prove more accurate detail.
1. Find the blurry part
Open the original and the edited picture. Set the zoom to 100%. Look at the same edge or texture in both.
Is the original already blurry? Then the problem started earlier. Is only the new part blurry? Check that layer. Does only the saved copy look bad? Check its size and quality settings.
2. Check the picture size
Check how many pixels the picture has. Pixels are the tiny dots that make up an image. Did you stretch a small result over a large area? That can show its lack of detail.
Select only the area that needs a change. Keep enough of the nearby scene for a useful result. A smaller selection may help, but it does not promise a sharper picture.
3. Try the available detail tools
Some generated results have an Enhance Detail option. It is not available for every result. Check Adobe’s guide for the current steps.
If you try another model, compare both pictures at the same size. More visible texture can still mean changed text, skin or other details.

4. Check where the pictures meet
A smooth new patch can look blurry beside a sharp photo. Compare texture, light and contrast too.
A mask lets you hide bad parts and show the original below. Do not blur the whole photo to hide one weak patch. Sharpening cannot make invented details true.
5. Check the saved copy
Save a copy at the size you need, then open it again. Check the edges of the edit, fine texture and text. For a large print, try a small test at the final scale.
Keep the original and the edited layers. You can then replace a weak area without doing the whole picture again.
